About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead end-to-end solution design and technical due diligence for complex payment deals
Serve as the primary solution architect and trusted advisor on strategic pursuits
Own Request for Proposal (RFP) response development in partnership with Sales, Product, Legal, and Pricing
Produce concise, consumable solution artifacts
Design and validate integration patterns and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
Translate client requirements into prioritized product and engineering requests

Requirements

What you’ll need

12+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or solution architecture within payments or adjacent fintech
Experience owning Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders
Experience designing and implementing APIs, integrations, data mappings, security controls, and implementation sequencing for payment platforms
Experience presenting complex technical solutions to executive (C-level) and technical audiences
Experience with cloud platforms, microservices-based architectures, RESTful APIs, OAuth or similar authentication frameworks
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, PMP, AWS/Azure cloud certifications, or equivalent professional credentials are a plus
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.
