About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and evolve the global cybersecurity architecture framework across on-premises, private cloud, public cloud, and hybrid environments
Lead secure architecture design patterns, reference models, and standards aligned to Zero Trust, Secure-by-Design, and Defense-in-Depth principles
Translate business, technology, and regulatory requirements into scalable security solutions across regions and platforms
Serve as the lead security architect for cloud migrations, SaaS adoption, and data center modernization
Establish enterprise security standards and partner with IT, business, compliance, risk, legal, audit, and DevSecOps teams to drive adoption
Lead threat modeling, security assessments, and control validation for technologies (AI/ML, Kubernetes, APIs, IoT, data platforms)
Architect secure infrastructure patterns (segmentation, privileged access zones, hardened environments, cloud landing zones)
Provide leadership on security tooling and partner across engineering and architecture teams to embed security into platforms, pipelines, and operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity and enterprise architecture
3+ years in a global or enterprise architect role
Deep experience securing on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Expertise in network security, identity and access management, encryption, segmentation, data protection, and security monitoring
Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies (VMware, Cisco, F5, firewalls, identity stores)
Familiarity with regulatory and security frameworks (PCI DSS, NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, SOX, GDPR, CCPA)
Experience with Terraform, Git, CI/CD pipelines, YAML/JSON, Python or Bash, Kubernetes security, cloud-native policy controls
Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer are preferred
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field, or equivalent professional or military experience
