About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and evolve the global cybersecurity architecture framework across on-premises, private cloud, public cloud, and hybrid environments
  • Lead secure architecture design patterns, reference models, and standards aligned to Zero Trust, Secure-by-Design, and Defense-in-Depth principles
  • Translate business, technology, and regulatory requirements into scalable security solutions across regions and platforms
  • Serve as the lead security architect for cloud migrations, SaaS adoption, and data center modernization
  • Establish enterprise security standards and partner with IT, business, compliance, risk, legal, audit, and DevSecOps teams to drive adoption
  • Lead threat modeling, security assessments, and control validation for technologies (AI/ML, Kubernetes, APIs, IoT, data platforms)
  • Architect secure infrastructure patterns (segmentation, privileged access zones, hardened environments, cloud landing zones)
  • Provide leadership on security tooling and partner across engineering and architecture teams to embed security into platforms, pipelines, and operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity and enterprise architecture
  • 3+ years in a global or enterprise architect role
  • Deep experience securing on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Expertise in network security, identity and access management, encryption, segmentation, data protection, and security monitoring
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies (VMware, Cisco, F5, firewalls, identity stores)
  • Familiarity with regulatory and security frameworks (PCI DSS, NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, SOX, GDPR, CCPA)
  • Experience with Terraform, Git, CI/CD pipelines, YAML/JSON, Python or Bash, Kubernetes security, cloud-native policy controls
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer are preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field, or equivalent professional or military experience
