About the role
- Design and Manage Data Warehouse, Data modeling and infrastructure tuning.
- Partner with Development and IT operations for smooth software releases integration.
- Implement automation and integration processes including code deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Ensure system reliability and efficiency by implementing monitoring systems and optimizing performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues to ensure high availability and resolving complex issues.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers
Requirements
- 8 years of experience as an ETL Developer , Data Integration Engineer, or in a similar role focused on data pipeline development, integration, and analytics.
- 8+ years of experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for building and maintaining ETL workflows.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and optimization.
- Working knowledge of Snowflake for cloud-based data warehousing and analytics.
- Experience with Qlik for data visualization and dashboard development.
- Programming experience in .Net C#, Java, or C++
- Experience in managing data loads from Mainframe VSAM files to IBM Cognos.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio
- Expertise in Data security, Compliance Standards, and Data Integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or equivalent military experience.
