Generate new demand, revenue, and profit margin for Fiserv with a target list of new client prospects in our verticals.
Establish regular communication with clients at all levels and disciplines, effectively articulating the Fiserv value proposition.
Lead multiple opportunities concurrently in various stages of the selling cycle, identifying, executing, and closing new business following the Fiserv sales process methodology.
Understand and execute pipeline, forecasting, revenue, and commit to purchase processes with high accuracy, accelerating time to revenue.
Build a sales plan, work that plan, and evaluate and revise as required to maximize business opportunities.
Lead and develop account strategies, including growth plans, budget, and project timelines.
Develop a business case and present client proposals with a set of solutions, financial justification, and expected results to overcome objections and win the business with maximum revenue/margin.
Ensure proactive accountability to the client, leading to enhanced client experience and quickly resolve client issues with a sense of urgency.
Collaborate across the organization and work in a virtual team setting to coordinate resources (account managers, account executives, solution consultants, implementation/service resources) to generate new opportunities and increase share of wallet.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in sales and/or business development roles across multiple verticals including ACH, Check, and Payment Processes with successful demonstrated performance against quota.
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree and/or equivalent military experience.
Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships at a senior level with clients, gaining trusted advisor status.
Experience in payment solutions or data/analytics sales to enterprise accounts (B2C experience).
Proven track record of success in opening new accounts and driving complex solution sales.
Ability to lead large, multi-disciplined project teams and integrate payment and technology solutions in complex client environments.
Experience with pipeline, forecasting, revenue, and commit to purchase processes.
Travel required: Approximately 40-60%.
