About the role
- Develop and maintain the Payments Exchange Fedwire product, ensuring robustness, scalability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Architect, design, and implement new features and functionalities in response to regulatory changes, client requests, and strategic product expansion goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Quality Assurance, and Customer Support, to align development efforts with customer needs and company goals.
- Ensure the integrity and security of wire transactions by implementing and maintaining best-in-class security practices and compliance measures.
- Continuously evaluate and incorporate modern technology trends and best practices to enhance product performance and user experience.
- Manage the integration of the product with additional banking cores, FX partners, and correspondent banks, enhancing the reach and functionality of the platform.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and strategic planning sessions to drive technical decisions and product direction.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high availability and minimal disruption to wire transmission services.
Requirements
- Sponsorship: In order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 12+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in .NET, C# and MS-SQL.
- Proficiency in building SOAP/XML web service using .NET Core, Swagger, and OAuth 2.
- Proficiency in C# and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong understanding of financial services, specifically wire transactions and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD - GitHub, Jenkins, Fortify) practices and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong focus on delivering high-quality, scalable, and resilient software solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and stakeholders.
