About the role

  • Key contributor within the software engineering team building and maintaining framework components across suite of applications and services
  • Coordinate with team members who work on different layers of the infrastructure
  • Develop Go application framework components that are scalable and maintainable across the enterprise
  • Translate software requirements into stable, working, high-performance software
  • Develop services that interact with RDBMS and messaging systems
  • Develop quality unit and integration tests to ensure a quality product
  • Play a key role in event-driven architecture and design of the system

Requirements

  • 2+ year of Go software development experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Go frameworks: API
  • 2+ years of experience with routing packages: Gorilla/Mux or Chi
  • Dependency Management using Go Modules, Dep or similar tools (2+ years)
  • 2+ years of experience building Go applications backed by a relational database such as Postgres or MySQL
  • 2+ years of experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
  • 2+ years of experience with Git
  • 2+ years experience with Event Driven Architectures supported by RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar technology
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work or military experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • (Nice to have) Experience with Code Generation
