About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with the deal team, including sales, proposal personnel, SMEs, and executive leadership, to complete and respond to various RFPs for merchants, financial institutions, and government entities
  • Perform a detailed analysis of RFPs, prepare compliance matrices, outlines, and schedules
  • Manage multiple, concurrent complex proposal efforts and teams simultaneously
  • Identify, organize, and coordinate proposal resources, ensuring the completion of all assignments
  • Develop original, customized content that reflects the approach and bolsters the Fiserv advantages
  • Lead proposal teams in discussions on proposal win themes, value propositions, and other strategic messages
  • Write detailed responses that convey the solution capabilities and advantages in language and concepts easily understood by others, with proper grammar and mechanics, and editing/revising skills

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in a fast-paced proposal environment in financial services/payment processing or similar field, responding to merchant, government, and financial institutions RFPs
  • Ability to understand and articulate client’s business requirements into a cohesive, persuasive final product
  • Exemplary organizational skills, including accuracy and timeliness, with the ability to manage multiple activities and meet established goals in a deadline-driven environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (for example, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, Mass Media or a related field
  • Proficient with Responsive (formerly RFPIO) or similar proposal automation software tools (great to have)
  • Proficient in Shipley processes and standards (great to have)
  • Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Certification (great to have)
