About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with the deal team, including sales, proposal personnel, SMEs, and executive leadership, to complete and respond to various RFPs for merchants, financial institutions, and government entities
Perform a detailed analysis of RFPs, prepare compliance matrices, outlines, and schedules
Manage multiple, concurrent complex proposal efforts and teams simultaneously
Identify, organize, and coordinate proposal resources, ensuring the completion of all assignments
Develop original, customized content that reflects the approach and bolsters the Fiserv advantages
Lead proposal teams in discussions on proposal win themes, value propositions, and other strategic messages
Write detailed responses that convey the solution capabilities and advantages in language and concepts easily understood by others, with proper grammar and mechanics, and editing/revising skills

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience in a fast-paced proposal environment in financial services/payment processing or similar field, responding to merchant, government, and financial institutions RFPs
Ability to understand and articulate client’s business requirements into a cohesive, persuasive final product
Exemplary organizational skills, including accuracy and timeliness, with the ability to manage multiple activities and meet established goals in a deadline-driven environment
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (for example, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Professional experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, Mass Media or a related field
Proficient with Responsive (formerly RFPIO) or similar proposal automation software tools (great to have)
Proficient in Shipley processes and standards (great to have)
Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Certification (great to have)
