About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify and win new sales opportunities and achieve or exceed individual revenue targets
  • Increase enterprise revenue in the EMEA region by selling Fiserv’s "Carat" solution (including merchant acquisition, terminals, gateways and value-added services)
  • Focus on defined target segments such as Retail, Food Service & Hospitality, QSR, Mobility, Gaming/Gambling and Financial Services with an omnichannel approach
  • Develop and implement robust go-to-market strategies to drive business growth
  • Create and optimize pricing models and contract structures in alignment with company objectives
  • Analyze market, competitor and customer data to identify new business opportunities
  • Maintain a transparent and up-to-date sales pipeline in the CRM system
  • Develop and manage strategic account plans for relevant opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Extensive sales experience, particularly in merchant acquisition or within the payments/FinTech environment
  • Solid understanding of modern payment technologies, especially omnichannel platforms, gateways and terminals
  • Strong network and established contacts with enterprise customers in relevant industries
  • Proven track record of independently closing complex deals—from negotiation through contract signing
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term customer and partner relationships
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Independent, structured and results-oriented working style
  • Ability to operate confidently within complex, international organizations
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Resilience, self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple priorities in parallel
  • Integrity and high ethical standards
  • Fluent German and good command of English; additional languages are a plus
