About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and implement Azure core networking infrastructure, including virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups
Manage hybrid connectivity solutions such as VPN and ExpressRoute to ensure secure and reliable connections between on‑premises and Azure environments
Configure and support application delivery services, including Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, and Traffic Manager
Implement private access to Azure services using private endpoints and service endpoints
Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code solutions using Terraform to automate and standardize Azure network deployments
Secure cloud network environments by deploying firewalls, network security groups, and other network security controls
Proactively monitor Azure network environments to identify issues, minimize risk, and maintain performance and availability
Troubleshoot and resolve network and connectivity issues across Azure and hybrid environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of experience in a network engineering role at an enterprise level
3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups
3+ years of experience developing and managing infrastructure using Terraform
2+ years of experience supporting hybrid connectivity solutions such as VPN and ExpressRoute
2+ years of experience configuring load balancers, application gateways, or traffic management solutions in the cloud
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and clients.
