About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review, and govern enterprise network security architectures across internal networks, infrastructure services, and perimeter (DMZ) environments
  • Provide architectural oversight and subject matter expertise for Network Detection and Response (NDR) platforms
  • Define and review security patterns for infrastructure services
  • Lead security architecture and control reviews for perimeter and DMZ environments
  • Assess network, infrastructure, and perimeter security risks and recommend risk-based mitigation strategies
  • Conduct and support security assessments, architecture reviews, and control evaluations for NDR
  • Drive continuous improvement of network security standards, reference architectures, and control requirements across enterprise and perimeter domains
  • Develop and maintain clear, audit-ready documentation for security architectures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years of experience in Information Security for Financial Institutions (or similar regulated industries)
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and modern attack techniques
  • Deep expertise in large-scale corporate network environments, including expert-level knowledge of routing, switching, and core network protocols
  • Extensive experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, next-generation firewalls, IDS/IPS, web proxies, and related threat prevention and detection platforms
  • Strong understanding of business processes, internal controls, IT risk management, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms and services, including integration of network security controls in Azure, AWS, or GCP environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in areas such as IT, Computer Science, IT Security, etc. and/or equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, PCNSE, CCIE, or equivalent are preferred.
