About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a subject matter expert for API/SDK integrations, gateways, and cloud-native payment flows, leading design conversations up to the C-suite and Senior Architect level
  • Own the technical relationship firm-wide, navigating Fiserv’s distributed technology stack to resolve bottlenecks and advocate for client-requested feature enhancements
  • Oversee all technical efforts for key accounts, providing high-level guidance during mission-critical events and ensuring SLA compliance
  • Conduct face-to-face discovery sessions with client stakeholders, vendors, and 3rd parties to future-proof their payment architectures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of experience in Technical Account Management, Solution Architecture, or Technical Implementations within the Payments or Fintech industry
  • Deep hands-on experience with Merchant Acquiring platforms, including a working knowledge of payment specs, ISO 8583, REST APIs, and SDKs
  • 8+ years of experience within the Fiserv ecosystem (Merchant Acquiring) OR equivalent experience at a major competitor (e.g., PayPal, Adyen, Stripe, Global Payments) with a focus on complex acquiring platforms
  • 3+ years in a client-facing technical leadership role, specifically gathering requirements for enterprise-level deployments
  • Expert understanding of POI/POS systems, card-not-present flows, and end-to-end payment processing
