About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, test, and deploy interactive dashboards and visual reports using Power BI
Create and maintain Power BI dataflows, measures, calculated columns, and detailed analytics in support of business needs
Implement row-level security, tabular models, and other multidimensional data models to ensure accurate and secure data access
Design and develop paginated reports that meet enterprise reporting and regulatory requirements
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including solution design and implementation timelines
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear objectives and ongoing performance measurement
Analyze complex data sets and present findings through reports and visualizations that support decision-making
Enhance and optimize existing business intelligence solutions by redefining data models, calculations, and visualizations based on feedback and performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of experience in business intelligence or data‑focused roles using BI tools, including significant hands‑on experience with Power BI, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
6+ years of experience with SQL querying, data modeling, data warehousing, performance tuning, and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) or similar analytics technologies
Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and supporting end‑to‑end BI solutions, including: ETL processes using SSIS
Operational and analytical reporting using SSRS (including paginated reports)
Interactive dashboards, dataflows, and row‑level security in Power BI
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and explain complex analytics in clear, non-technical language
Experience working in an agile environment with a focus on continuous improvement and iterative delivery
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience
