Key responsibilities & impact

Lead all Unisys ClearPath MCP OS, Network, and other major software release planning and implementations
Configure, plan and manage system hardware upgrades
Act as a technical lead on larger projects
Implement and maintain procedures to collect performance metrics and produce system performance and capacity reports
Perform analyses to assess system performance and capacity
Manage and maintain 24x7 uptime on the mainframes including client related connectivity, application and platform issues
Research products, solutions, technologies, and apply results to create presentations and documentation
Establish and implement auditing standards for CAS, PCI, FFIEC, and SOC assessments
Identify system performance bottlenecks and recommend performance improvement solutions
Collaborate with business leaders to provide support, advice, and guidance on products and technology solutions
Apply technical expertise to support the deployment of technology architecture and the total system solution

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of experience on Unisys MCP systems
5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering in a Master Control Program (MCP) operating system environment, EMC disk subsystems, Work Flow Language (WFL), Communication Management System (COMS)
5+ years of experience with Windows, Data and Structure Definition Language (DASDL), and Open Distributed Transaction Processing (DTP)
3+ years of experience in solution architecture, including designing and implementing scalable
Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience
