About the role
- Manage client implementations and conversions for Enterprise and Midmarket projects and technical custom implementations.
- Develop, coordinate, and execute API implementation/conversion project plans, ensuring on-time and effective delivery.
- Identify opportunities to streamline integration procedures, enhance revenue, and improve product efficiency.
- Interface with other Fiserv departments to generate and offer appropriate solutions.
- Interpret and communicate Fiserv services and products to clients, sales, and vendors.
- Gather client requirements for software development to support implementation/conversion.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for API Implementations, partnering with internal teams on client entablements and conversions.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or a relevant field; or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related Engineering field (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Technical Background: Experience working directly with developers on integration projects, in a technical helpdesk environment, or through relevant academic coursework and internships.
- Functional Coding Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, PHP, or Python) and HTML—this can be demonstrated through professional work, personal portfolios (GitHub), or degree-based projects.
- Web Services: Intermediate understanding of Web services (SOAP and RESTful) gained through work or academic study.
- API Knowledge: Experience developing or supporting sites using API and SDK integrations.
- Analytical Tools: Proficiency in MS Excel and other productivity/analysis software.
- Experience that would be great to have: Bachelor's Degree (preferably Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent combination of experience, education and military.
- Direct experience with mobile development and integration on platforms such as iOS and Android.
- Intermediate SQL knowledge.
- Knowledge of process documentation and development of training plans.
- Experience in project management or a related field.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Fintech Knowledge: Understanding of the payments industry and merchant processing workflows.
