About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Performs analysis of the business goals, objectives and needs of the general business environment
- Performs research and analysis to support business operations and presents findings to manager
- Delivering working product increments to clients, on time, on budget and according to best quality standards
- Working with product management, stakeholders, peers and teams to define and prioritize the product backlog
- Engaging in scrum rituals and ceremonies
- Driving improvements in solution design, analysis and testing activities
- Plans and designs business processes and make recommendations
- Utilizes systems and data to resolve business issues
- Identifies and implements best practices
- Calculates/estimates costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions
- Analyzes and documents business processes and metrics and identifies improvement opportunities
- May train internal employees on changes to business practices
- Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems
- Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements
- Influences business partners and service providers regarding priorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios
- Proficiency in industry-standard process methodologies
- Knowledge of FIS’ products and services
- Knowledge of financial services industry
- Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles
- Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to persuade and influence others
- Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects
- Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas
