Managing Director, Sales – Asset Finance
FISManaging Director Sales in Asset Finance at FIS, responsible for driving strategic client relationships and multi-year growth strategies. Leading cross-functional teams and managing complex enterprise solutions.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and strengthen already notable strategic commercial partnerships with FIS’ largest and most discerning Asset Finance clients.
- Define and execute multi-year growth strategies in concentric circles; national, North American, and global that align to the enterprise objectives as well as local requirements.
- Ability to switch between large enterprise transformation programs and software deals, and tactical engagements and solutions.
- Growing relationships across the C-level as well as operational managers to understand client requirements across all levels and aspects.
- Build, lead, and manage (internal) win teams across disciplines to deliver complex solutions to solve multivariate problems, including external partners.
- Tight management of predictability relating to forecast, resource management, utilizing senior FIS resources as well as protecting FIS from a legal and revenue perspective.
- Significant (domestic and international) travel is required for up to 50% of your time.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A growth-mindset seeing the art-of-the-possible in building mutual partnerships.
- An ability to take strategic information such as annual reports and analyst briefings and translate this to required business capabilities that FIS can help the client deliver.
- Complex sales experience with domain knowledge of financial technology; Asset Finance preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience selling large enterprise-wide financial software with complex implementation requirements.
- A deep understanding of leading-edge technologies such as AI, LLM, Analytics, and Digital technologies and how they can be leveraged to achieve business outcomes.
- Natural curiosity to keep on top of Asset Finance industry trends as well as technology- and macro-economic-developments and how they impact our clients.
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business field.
- An innate drive to succeed, deliver professional excellence and a win as a team.
- Being an ambassador internally and externally; build teams that make change happen.
- Must be based in the United States.
