About the role

  • Provide technical guidance to clients and FIS teams on the business implications of system applications, leveraging expertise in specific business processes.
  • Perform technology and business consulting activities to meet client-specific requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between end users and consultants during consulting engagements.
  • Produce detailed specifications from which programs will be developed.
  • Assist QA teams by preparing test plans and test cases to ensure application enhancements meet client requirements and maintain application integrity.
  • Support testing activities including system, integration, readiness, and user acceptance testing to ensure client needs are met.
  • Support Sales and solutioning by contributing to sales bids and RFP responses, and when requested, presenting to clients as part of a bid team.
  • Work at client sites as required; some travel is expected.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with core banking platforms and in a senior Business Analyst / Consultant role.
  • Detailed knowledge of some or all of the following product areas in the German market: loans, savings/deposits, and SEPA/payments processing.
  • Deep knowledge of the German banking industry.
  • Experience working in a technology or financial services organization; preferably with vendor and client-side experience.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and German.
