About the role
- Provide 24/7 support of production database environments
- Mentor other database staff
- Maintain database environment and implement backup/recovery procedures
- Work with internal teams to collaborate on database performance issues
- Report problem areas and follow up on recommendations
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a database administrator
- Extensive experience on the NonStop platform as a Systems Database Administrator
- SQL/MX statistics updating
- Data Replication using Shadowbase, RDF or DRNet
- OSS shell scripting
- TACL Programming
- FUP commands for Enscribe files
- General understanding of database concepts and security definitions
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
