About the role

  • Support the delivery of systems assurance, requirements management, verification and validation activities across major infrastructure projects.
  • Assist with requirements engineering activities, including elicitation, analysis, allocation, and traceability.
  • Contribute to assurance reviews, audits, and compliance assessments.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of Requirements Management databases.
  • Contribute to Verification & Validation (V&V) planning and evidence collation.
  • Participate in configuration management activities throughout the systems lifecycle.
  • Assist in the production of technical reports, meeting minutes, and assurance evidence.
  • Collaborate with multi‑discipline engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and client representatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject (Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • 1–5 years’ experience in engineering, systems engineering, assurance, integration, or related technical roles.
  • Interest in developing expertise in Systems Assurance, Requirements Engineering, Verification & Validation, Interface Management, Configuration Management, RAMS and System Safety.
  • Awareness of systems engineering and quality standards such as IEC 61508, ISO 9001 (desirable).
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a multi‑discipline team.
  • A proactive, detail‑oriented, and organised approach to work.
  • Experience working within major infrastructure projects (desirable but not essential).
