About the role

  • Build and lead a sales team to drive revenue and gross profit margin for the market through daily operations
  • Work closely with the Market Vice President of Sales
  • Achieve annual sales volume and profit objectives
  • Define, implement, monitor, and continually improve sales KPI’s
  • Research customer and market trends to identify sales trends and new business segments
  • Work with operations and other internal departments to deliver top service to customers
  • Manage time and organize workflow to meet deadlines

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in sales in the food industry
  • Associate degree in an appropriate field of study or three years equivalent work
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A demonstrated sense of urgency in meeting critical and time-sensitive deadlines
  • 5-7 years of sales and/or sales management experience, preferably working with seafood and meat/poultry food products (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, sales, marketing, hospitality, or culinary arts (preferred)
