About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain diverse candidate pools for drivers, attendants, and other critical staff across multiple locations
  • Use online platforms, community outreach, and in-person networking for candidate sourcing
  • Build the company’s brand presence within local communities
  • Tailor and optimize recruiting strategies for the operational area
  • Partner with internal teams to implement strategic recruiting initiatives
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and reports and adjust sourcing strategies
  • Build relationships with community leaders, schools, and other talent sources
  • Represent the company at job fairs, trade shows, and community events
  • Engage customers and stakeholders to develop recruitment partnerships
  • Prepare recruiting reports covering candidate flow, source effectiveness, and hiring timelines
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with company policies, provincial regulations, and industry standards
  • Partner with Candidate Experience, Training, and Location Manager teams through onboarding
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on targeted recruiting campaigns and promotional materials
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years of relevant recruiting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% for job fairs, recruiting events, and team support
  • Ability to travel throughout Western and Central provinces in Canada
  • Access to a vehicle for travel
  • Ability to travel frequently and on short notice based on operational needs
  • Bilingual French/English is an asset but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Events Coordinator and/or Campus Recruitment experience is an asset
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to develop creative recruitment solutions and improve processes
  • Successful track record building an application pipeline with strong application-to-hire conversion rate
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professional judgment
  • Must pass a background check
