About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Source high-potential pre-seed startups across Europe
Run first calls independently and develop conviction about founders and ideas
Work through the full deal-flow process, from first contact and due diligence to investment committee and closing
Evaluate opportunities and help shape investment decisions
Research emerging technologies and market trends
Conduct data-driven analysis and present insights influencing investment theses and strategic direction
Support portfolio founders with go-to-market initiatives, AI workflow automation, and operational optimization

Requirements

What you’ll need

1–3 years of work experience in the startup ecosystem, consulting, or a technical role
Strong analytical capabilities
Ability to move from technical papers to business models to founder conversations
Extreme ownership and high agency
Genuine curiosity about deeply technical domains
Engineering background or strong interest in learning how breakthrough technologies work
Clear and convincing communication in both German and English
Availability for 6–12 months starting January 2027
