VC Investment Intern – 6 months

Chief of Staff

• You'll be the wingman of our partners and sit at the heart of First Momentum’s highest‑leverage projects, raising the next fund, launching spin‑offs, and unblocking portfolio companies while communicating fluently in German and English.
• Unlock our third fund generation: drive the LP pipeline, support building the data room, refine decks and DDQs, and be a pillar of the fund‑structuring team in close collaboration with our Head of Finance and founding partners.
• Run special missions: partner with portfolio companies to accelerate financing rounds, GTM pushes, or key hires, delivering tangible results in weeks, not months.
• Validate and co‑incubate ventures: test new ideas, recruit core teams, and step in as launch co‑founder when conviction is high.
• Coordinate strategic execution: turn whiteboard concepts into work plans, track cross-team OKRs, and keep mission-critical tasks on track, especially for high-priority projects.
• Own stakeholder communication: craft crisp updates, handle inbound requests, and represent First Momentum across Europe’s tech hubs in flawless German and English.
• Sharpen our operating stack: keep the CRM, dashboards, and playbooks humming, so we can move better and faster.

Founders Associate – Special Projects

• Own a software thesis and lead pre-seed deals end-to-end (sourcing, technical diligence, term sheets, post-investment work)
• Scout and invest in pre-seed founders building software infrastructure, developer tooling, and AI infrastructure
• Work directly with portfolio companies on technical roadmaps, hiring, and scaling engineering teams
• Syndicate with co-investors and maintain high-signal relationships across EU/US to unlock follow-on funding and customers
• Collaborate closely with the two founding partners as a full member of the investment team and grow toward partner
• Participate in regular working sessions in Munich, periodic offsites, and spend meaningful time in founder and co-investor ecosystems
• Own outcomes end-to-end, keep peers unblocked, and raise the bar for the group

Investment Manager / Principal, Software – Infrastructure, DevTools, AI

• First Momentum is a Pre-Seed investor for Deep Tech & B2B Tech founders in Europe supporting founders hands-on.
• Support the investment team by sourcing promising pre-seed start-ups through various channels.
