Provide Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) analysis support to NAVSEA PMS 408 - Naval Expeditionary Missions (EXM) Program Office, including analytical, program management, and administrative support.
Contingent role delivering comprehensive analysis, aiding acquisition and logistics project management, and collaborating with team members for program execution.
Apply formal MBSE techniques and tools per industry, DoD, and Department of the Navy standards and best practices.
Execute requirements analysis, modeling with traceability from requirements to system/subsystems, functionality, and test constructs.
Develop and manage DoDAF-described views; perform expeditionary medical systems analysis and decomposition (internal block diagrams, block definition diagrams, custom views).
Conduct activity/behavior modeling, identify interface definitions, support test development (RTVMs, PSPECs, test plans) in modeling tools.
Perform simulation and trade-off analyses; apply INCOSE SE Handbook guidance and standard modeling languages (UML, SysML, UAF).
Apply architecture frameworks and reference models (DoDAF, NFARM) and employ DON-approved tools (Naval IME, Cameo Systems Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architecture, Teamwork Cloud).
Execute SE activities in modeling tools, export tailored/standard reports, process and import data to update model objects; use Velocity templates and Groovy for reporting.
Identify and develop standard operating procedures to support 408/EXMED-specific SE activities; communicate MBSE contributions to Navy and joint mission objectives.
Mentor non-engineers, lead technical reviews as necessary; work independently or in small teams; hybrid work schedule combining remote and on-site work.
