About the role
- Work with other team members to support the enhancement of the Bank’s digital user experience by creating and iterating prototypes, visual designs, digital design assets, user journey maps, wireframes, etc. as assigned
- Ensure that digital products, services, and channels deliver an efficient, easy-to-use, accessible experience for clients
- Help understand and advocate for product design that supports the needs and behaviors of the target audience to the product team
- Develop an understanding of brand guidelines and apply visual elements and styles to user interfaces
- Assist in conducting user interviews or surveys
- Analyze research outcomes and help compile reports
- Use data to help draft user personas and scenarios to inform design decisions
- Perform competitive analysis to identify patterns and best practices
- Collaborate with other design team members to create assets as needed
- Work with enterprise design and product, technology, and QA stakeholders to measure product and team success
- Contribute to brand guidelines and standards for the enterprise design team
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience
- Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution (during the time of the summer program)
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the program
- 3.0 minimum GPA preferred
- Strong desire to learn and grow
- Studying Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Product Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design or other relevant fields
- Some practical or internship experience using design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Axure) and relevant practical or internship experience in user research is desired
- Possess a positive attitude, naturally curious and enjoys collaborating with others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to adapt and adjust priorities based on business needs
- Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
- Self-starter, comfortable with asking questions and determining the best course of action.
