Actuary

• Provide analysis and insight on claims reserves
• Assist in calculating an appropriate Best Estimate claims reserve for Motor and Home classes of business
• Analyze detailed claims and premium data for actuarial reserving analysis
• Assist in the production of timely and accurate best estimate reserves for Motor and Home to the Head of Reserving
• Support improvements to the reserving process
• Ensure compliance with company and other relevant standards/ regulations

Actuarial Reserving Analyst

• Manage preparation of the Group’s quarterly VAT and IPT returns.
• Coordinate with PwC on the annual Corporation Tax return preparation.
• Support PwC with Pillar 2 and CbCR data requests and validations.
• Work with the Group Strategic Finance & Control Team to support tax accounting processes.
• Assist with reconciliations and review of tax-relevant balances.
• Support Tax Manager with data gathering, modelling, and analysis for projects.
• Liaise with AP teams to correct tax treatments on invoices.

Solutions Engineer

• Responsible for connecting finance, data engineering and actuarial analytics to deliver robust, insight‑driven solutions.
• Design and maintain data pipelines and tools that enable complex financial and actuarial modelling, reporting, and insight.
• Collate data from financial systems (Workday) and actuarial into centralized data platforms.
• Collaborate with actuaries and finance professionals to understand model inputs, assumptions, and outputs.
• Develop and maintain SQL/Python scripts for data transformation, automation, and advanced analytics (e.g., reserves analysis, forecast simulations).
• Create and maintain relational and dimensional data models to support actuarial and financial reporting.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across finance and actuarial models; implement validation controls and reconciliation processes.
• Support regulatory and statutory reporting (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS 17, GAAP), ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Build reporting tools and dashboards (using Python, Power BI, etc.) for stakeholders to analyse key financial and actuarial metrics.
• Collaborate on model development, testing, and deployment into production environments.
• Maintain robust documentation and version control for models, pipelines, and processes.
