About the role

  • Develops and retains a quality client base of Real Estate Agents and Brokers, Lenders, Builders, Agents, Attorneys and others through the acquisition of new business and maintenance of existing customers.
  • Sales Representatives interfaces with division management, branch manager and escrow staff in carrying out the functions of the position.
  • Sales representatives have an ongoing responsibility for maintaining the customer relationship and servicing the customer's needs throughout the entire sales order, shipping, billing, customer payment, and follow-up for future business process
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives of an assigned territory by promoting and selling First American Home Warranty products and services through professional sales techniques, excellent customer service, and long-term customer relationships.
  • Develop and retain a quality client base of Realtors, Brokers, Builders and Investors through account management and new business acquisition.
  • Follow-up to make sure we meet all client needs and collaborate with management to carry out all functions of the position.
  • Maintain and increase sales and market share in assigned geographical territory.
  • Spend a minimum of 40 hours per week calling on Real Estate Brokers and Agents.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Post-Secondary degree preferred
  • Two years of previous OUTSIDE SALES and business development experience
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive outlook and energized presence
  • Excellent presentation/public speaking skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational and territory management skills.
  • Strong computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Independent self-starter
  • Working knowledge of the Real Estate Industry
  • Working knowledge of Apple products such as iPad and iPhone
