About the role

  • Drive strategic initiatives from a sales and operations perspective
  • Influence the overall Business Unit strategy and collaborate with executive leadership team on strategic decision-making.
  • Define strategy for business development to drive revenue growth throughout the region.
  • Effectively utilizes financial management skills to successfully analyze and manage P&L at a regional level.
  • Manage the activities of the sales team to attain maximum sales volume and develop maximum potential volume from all markets.
  • Ensure that the sales team engages in the specific behaviors and activities that drive revenue and grow market share.
  • Develop an organizational structure which creates operational efficiencies to drive business results and foster talent development across the region.
  • Develop and direct the implementation of divisional initiatives, policies and procedures that comply with regulatory and statutory guidelines, rules, and standards.
  • Support and champion the adoption of new business technologies which serve as market differentiators and a strategy for maximizing productivity and business performance.
  • Develop team members to build a solid succession plan for all key roles while supporting a positive workplace culture that encourages collaboration, growth, and operational excellence.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape, including the recruitment and retention of strategic talent.
  • Interact with external stakeholders to enhance and expand the customer experience.
  • Utilize metrics/dashboards and available shared services which drive an environment and culture of continuous improvement.
  • Utilize problem-solving, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and team building skills to meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Travel required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • 12+ years demonstrated experience managing multiple functions
  • Demonstrated competency in executing strategic plans.
  • Progressive experience in leading employees in multiple locations and significant experience developing and implementing solutions.
  • Proven track record of leading large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and driving organizational change.
  • Possesses problem-solving, collaboration, negotiation, critical thinking, team building, and presentation skills.
  • A deep understanding of metrics/dashboards to drive continuous improvement.
  • Displays leadership skills, leading by example, driving employee commitment through actions, and empowering employees to reach their full potential.
