About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and oversee implementation of Windows Server solutions including Configuration Manager (SCCM), Group Policy, and CIS-based security hardening
Define and enforce best practices for patch management, server software deployment, and disk space remediation
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex infrastructure issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs
Ensure compliance with CIS benchmarks and internal security standards
Monitor system health and performance, proactively addressing risks and inefficiencies
Drive automation and process improvements to reduce toil and increase reliability
Contribute to infrastructure roadmap planning and capacity forecasting
Partner with leadership to evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need

12+ years of experience in platform engineering
Proficient in Ansible automation, especially in writing playbooks and roles for patching, reporting, and orchestration
7+ years of experience in Windows Server engineering, including SCCM, Active Directory, and GPO
Solid understanding of the Vulnerability Management Lifecycle and remediation planning
Advanced knowledge in AWS and Azure Infrastructure
Proficient in scripting (Powershell, YAML)
Advanced knowledge in IaC tools Terraform or CloudFormation
Advanced knowledge in designing and implementing CI/CD pipeline with tools like Jenkins, CodePipeline, or similar
Good knowledge of version control tools like GIT, Bitbucket or Team Foundation Server
Adept in System & IT operation – Windows and Linux OS administration
Understanding of networking principles and technologies (DNS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies)
