About the role

  • Oversee direct reports and manage multiple locations
  • Create and manage KPI’s(key performance indicators)for specified region
  • Ensure consistent on-site management and staff compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
  • Consistently demonstrate strong leadership and coaching kills, including holding self and others accountable to clearly defined and measurable results,using initiative, independent and collaborative thinking, and interpersonal effectiveness
  • Adhere to set budget and manage P&L for specified region
  • Work together with site leadership to: Coach, train and supervise employees
  • Maintain Work Order productivity throughput to management defined standards
  • Monitor and measure employee productivity according to Management standards
  • Maintain and update written company Process and Procedure Guide for all controls according to company and industry standards
  • Identify, document and implement efficiency standards
  • Maintain equipment per company schedule and develop working knowledge for general repair
  • Lead process of successful completion of company’s annual third-party verification program
  • Enforce company policies and procedures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve semi-complex problems and make quality decisions in a timely manner
  • Develop strong working knowledge of PPE service Ledger Tracking System - new GearWash app
  • Continually identify opportunities for improvement
  • Travel as needed to Gear Wash sites, approximately 20% of the year

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field is preferred
  • Previous successful manufacturing or production leadership experience
  • Active leadership experience and familiarity with lean manufacturing and ISO standards
  • Valid drivers’ license with a good driving record
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to learn new software programs and systems
  • Open and effective communicator and collaborator with all levels of the organization and with external customers, including verbally and written, including being a team player and having a Professional interface with others, getting results through collaboration while also being a self-starter
  • Possesses characteristics of servant leadership
  • Strong sense of urgency, follow-through, and diligence, including meeting deadlines and have the ability to remain organized with and keep track of multiple sources of information and data
  • Possess a solutions-focused mind-set
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Efficient with multi-tasking and managing multiple priorities, including being productive while handling re-directions and interruptions, based upon business needs

  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds due to the nature of handling garments
