Key responsibilities & impact

Develop software for industrial energy storage and photovoltaic (PV) systems
Optimize battery operations using an AI-driven platform
Build and maintain cloud-based data and control platforms
Collaborate closely with the CTO and co-founder on both strategic and hands-on tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Hands-on experience deploying and managing IoT or edge devices in production
Strong Linux skills (our edge devices run on Linux)
Experience integrating devices using at least one industrial protocol (Modbus, MQTT, OPC-UA, or similar)
Ownership mindset — you want to shape the platform, not just implement tickets
Nice to have: energy domain knowledge, fleet management experience, familiarity with embedded Linux, experience evaluating industrial edge hardware, experience with cloud IoT platforms, proficiency in Go, Rust, or Java, German language skills
