About the role

Build Finn AI, the first AI-powered wealth manager.
Develop and maintain the core backend infrastructure of the Finvest platform.
Push the boundaries of engineering to build solutions for money management using AI and data.
Work closely with frontend engineers and the rest of the founding team to build exceptional user experiences.

Have 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer developing and deploying production-level backend systems
Experience with ML models and AI-driven systems - either from past projects or a strong willingness to work on ML-powered applications
Fluent in Node/Typescript, Python, Postgres, and AWS
Proven ability to architect complex distributed system with experience in services like Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes
Experience with performance and optimization problems and eagerness to both diagnose and prevent these problems
Comfortable taking ownership from start to finish, build new systems from scratch, and iterate quickly in a startup environment.
