About the role
- Develop and implement advanced T-SQL procedures and functions, ensuring efficiency and scalability
- Write optimised SQL queries to integrate with other applications and manage end-to-end ETL processes
- Design robust database structures, tables, and objects
- Define and implement best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes to drive efficiency and quality
- Design and build impactful Power BI reports and dashboards (Operational, Strategic & Analytical) using DAX, Power Query, and advanced data modelling
- Deliver insights that help the business monitor KPIs and make informed, data-driven decisions
- Ensure the reliability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both internal and external users
- Work with Excel, Power BI, and PivotTables to extract, transform, and analyse data effectively
Requirements
- Strong expertise in T-SQL (advanced level)
- Solid experience with ETL processes
- Proficiency in developing and tuning Power BI dashboards, datasets, DAX, and SQL for optimal performance
- Basic knowledge of Python and C#
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an Enterprise environment OR 5 years in any industry sector
- At least a secondary school qualification (A-Levels or equivalent)
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
