About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the roadmap for your feature surface area
Conduct user discovery, analyze behavior metrics, and prioritize what to build next
Translate complex financial and accounting standards into elegant data models and intuitive software workflows
Write clean backend logic, design schemas, and ensure your code is secure, scalable, and auditable
Track feature adoption, gather user feedback, and iterate continuously

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in a product-focused role (Product Manager, Product Owner, or Product Engineer)
3+ years of professional software engineering experience
Comfortable diving into a complex codebase, writing reliable code in Python (or similar backend languages)
Experience working directly with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MS SQL Server)
Ability to design scalable database schemas and understand cloud infrastructure (AWS) implications
Experience using product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Pendo, Heap) and SQL queries
Exceptional ability to articulate product vision to stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field is required
Strong preference for candidates with coursework or certifications in business administration, finance, or product strategy.
