About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure for high-availability, low-latency API services across multiple regions
Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for seamless deployments and efficient resource utilization
Enable the engineering team to ship quickly and confidently with CI/CD
Implement and maintain the ELK stack for logging, monitoring, and alerting
Ensure system reliability and support quick incident response
Implement infrastructure security practices, access controls, and compliance requirements for financial services
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement scaling solutions
Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment workflows, and operational tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC
Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
Proven track record building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines or similar
Experience with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or similar logging and monitoring solutions
Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools
Proficient in Python, Bash, or similar scripting and automation languages
Ability to debug complex distributed systems and solve infrastructure challenges
Strong English skills
German is a plus
Experience in FinTech, SaaS platforms, or developer tools is a plus
Knowledge of testing frameworks is a plus
Understanding of web performance optimization techniques is a plus
Familiarity with AWS services and cloud deployment is a plus
Basic understanding of backend technologies and APIs is a plus
Willingness to handle on-call duty and frequent deployments
