About the role
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and executive-level presentations
- Conduct variance analysis and provide clear, insightful commentary
- Build and maintain financial models; assist in annual budgeting and rolling forecasts
- Perform ad-hoc strategic analysis to evaluate initiatives and investment opportunities
- Ensure data integrity, compliance with internal policies and external standards (e.g., IFRS), and accurate recording of contract obligations
- Leverage Advanced Excel, Microsoft Power Platform and financial systems for reporting and analysis; improve reporting tools and processes
- Partner with regional finance teams and operational stakeholders to communicate complex financial concepts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- CPA, CFA, or progress toward designation is an asset
- 3 - 7 years of experience in an analytical role in FP&A or Accounting
- Experience in a large, complex organization preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, financial modeling)
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform
- Experience with ERP/EPM systems (INFOR/M3, BPC/AFO, DBS, OneStream, SAP)
- Knowledge of IFRS and contract obligations recording
- Analytical thinking and variance analysis
- Attention to detail and data validation
- Forecasting, budgeting, and rolling forecasts experience
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
