About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design infrastructure architecture with high availability;
Responsible for deploying and managing all infrastructure;
Responsible for cloud billing;
Responsible for deploying new services;
Define infrastructure best practices for the environment;
Support squads in deploying new products and handling incidents;
Perform problem analysis (troubleshooting);
Define and manage CI/CD;
Perform backups;
Monitor environment growth and capacity;
Deploy new backup technologies;
Implement monitoring across the entire technology landscape (on-premises, data center and cloud);
Maintain and support the VMware environment;
Responsible for the technical development of the team;

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related field;
Extensive experience with infrastructure;
Extensive experience with Linux and Windows operating systems;
Experience with Agile methodologies;
Extensive experience in problem analysis (troubleshooting);
Extensive experience with automation in development environments supporting the application lifecycle;
Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud or Azure);
Experience with container technologies (Docker) and orchestrators (Mesos/Kubernetes/Swarm);
Experience defining CI/CD using distributed infrastructure and cloud;
Extensive experience with CI tools - GitLab CI, Jenkins, Travis CI, CircleCI;
Extensive experience developing with Configuration Management tools (Chef/Puppet/Ansible/Salt);
Knowledge of scripting languages: bash/sh, Perl, Python;
Experience with system monitoring applications (Nagios, Datadog, 24x7);
