About the role

  • Own the Core Finance Product Development: Lead the design and iterative implementation of state-of-art solutions in S/4HANA Cloud, supporting the development of SAP as part of a larger Finance Product.
  • Interface Development: Develop interfaces to integrate SAP with multiple internal and external systems, always leveraging latest technology trends and aiming for reliability.
  • Obsess About Customers: Work in close collaboration with Finance stakeholders to understand their pain points. Investigate issues independently, trace data across systems and propose solutions that elevate the quality of the SAP platform.
  • Support System Architecture Strategy: Be the main point of contact for SAP technology topics and support the ongoing design of our overall system architecture.
  • Understand and own the full data chain: From upstream automation tools (Make, APIs), through SAP processing to downstream analytics (DWH/SAC). You don't just build what's on the ticket; you investigate why the ticket exists.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of ABAP and CPI experience in S/4HANA Cloud with heavy focus in building interfaces to third-party systems.
  • Ability to translate complex functional requirements into end-to-end solutions using different technologies.
  • Experience in product development and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in SAP integration suites (CPI, BTP), REST/OData APIs, ABAP (Classic, OO ABAP, RAP) and SAP UI (GUI, Web Dynpro, UI5 / Fiori). Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and lowcode tools (Make) is a strong plus.
  • Experience with or strong interest in SAP Clean Core principles, released APIs and side-by-side extensibility in BTP.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, coupled with customer obsession and eagerness to work in a fast paced and impact-driven environment.
