About the role
- Lead and develop the FP&A function, enhancing forecasting accuracy, financial modelling, and visibility of business performance
- Build and maintain scalable operational and financial models to support planning, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making
- Design and own KPI dashboards and reporting frameworks, delivering a single source of truth for performance management
- Leverage data analytics to drive performance tracking, profitability analysis, and robust business cases for new initiatives
- Lead end-to-end business casing, tracking forecast versus actual ROI and embedding learnings into future investment decisions
- Partner closely with senior leadership, department heads, and operational teams to provide clear financial insight and commercial challenge
- Provide hands-on financial leadership while maturing the FP&A capability, including coaching and developing the FP&A analyst
- Implement improved systems, processes, and controls suitable for a fast-moving, evolving organisation
- Work closely with the Financial Controller to deliver timely, accurate monthly management reporting, with clear and actionable performance commentary
- Partner with commercial teams on pricing strategy and new-market entry, providing rigorous financial diligence to support decisions
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a senior FP&A leadership role, ideally within a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Deep financial modelling experience
- Proven experience supporting both wholesale and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels, with a strong understanding of their distinct financial drivers and performance metrics.
- Exposure to PE-backed environments and investor-level reporting
- Resourceful, creative, resilient and entirely flexible: thrives on positive change
- Experience enhancing systems, reporting frameworks and data structures
- Strong commercial acumen and cross-functional partnering skills
- Excellent self-awareness, communication, networking and interpersonal skills
