Senior Performance Marketing Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You take ownership of our entire performance marketing across Meta, Google, and new channels.
- You manage and challenge existing agencies with the goal of gradually building in-house expertise.
- You optimize six-figure budgets and ensure sustainable profitability, with a focus on achieving a MER (Marketing Efficiency Ratio) above 2.5.
- You develop scalable creative strategies and derive systematic tests for new ads, angles, and formats.
- You build new channels such as influencer and affiliate marketing in a structured way and assess their scaling potential.
- You work data-driven along our unit economics and consistently optimize the ratio of CLV to CAC.
- You drive CRO initiatives in the shop and work specifically towards a conversion rate above 4.5%.
- You advance our tracking and attribution setup and bring it to the next level.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have led or played a key role in building performance marketing in a D2C or e-commerce setup.
- You have managed significant budgets (ideally >€100k monthly ad spend) and know how to scale profitably.
- You think like an entrepreneur, question assumptions, and make decisions based on data.
- Education/degree: Not decisive — what's more important is that you can deliver.
- Meta Ads, Google Ads (including Performance Max), creative testing, funnel logic.
- Fluent in German and English.
