About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the selling and upselling of Finastra Lending solutions
  • Manage and close opportunities with appropriate authorization to achieve or exceed financial targets
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts in Finastra’s standard format
  • Identify market opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline
  • Develop and maintain short- and long-term account plans for new and existing customers
  • Initiate and manage the full sales cycle according to Finastra standards and best practices
  • Advise, prepare, and present proposals to clients and prospects
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with senior bankers
  • Keep clients informed of Finastra product developments
  • Support project definitions for third-party and consultancy sales
  • Conduct detailed market research on target banks, systems, key personnel, strategic direction, and competitors
  • Share market insights with internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Product Centers, Marketing, and Pre-Sales teams on market intelligence and go-to-market strategies
  • Ensure consistent representation of Finastra in the marketplace
  • Report to the Regional Director as part of the Lending sales team in the ASEAN region

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
  • At least 10–12 years of experience in software sales
  • Minimum of 8 years selling into the financial services industry, including banks, asset management firms, or insurance companies
  • Strong track record of success
  • Background in Tier 1 or Tier 2 system integrators or software solution providers is highly desirable
  • Ability to conceptualize and build compelling value propositions
  • Self-starter with a proactive, go-getter attitude
  • Results-driven and achievement-oriented
  • Strong relationship-building abilities with clients and internal teams
  • Creative and strategic thinker
  • Strong solution-selling and account management skills
  • Hunter mentality and passion for driving new business
