About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support work across the Capabilities and Controls team, including governance, risk, controls, quality assurance, business improvement and implementation
  • Work with colleagues across teams to understand operational issues, identify themes and support practical improvements
  • Ensure actions, risks, decisions and dependencies are clearly owned, tracked, progressed and followed through
  • Prioritise activity, identify issues needing attention and escalate matters appropriately
  • Support governance forums by preparing updates and papers, coordinating inputs and following up on agreed actions
  • Help teams identify, assess and manage operational risks proportionately

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience working with stakeholders across different teams or functions
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage varied workloads, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Good judgement to identify key issues and escalate appropriately
