About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leads and directs the operation of the mortgage loan closing teams
- Ensures process and document accuracy and completion, proper funds disbursement
- Develops and coordinates a closing schedule
- Supervises preparation of loan documents and disbursement of funds
- Develops and maintains departmental policies and operational procedures
- Manages staff to accomplish results through recruitment, training, development, and recognition
Requirements
What you’ll need- Requires 5+ years of related progressive experience in mortgage closing
- Requires 3-5 years of mortgage closing, funding, or lending experience
- Requires extensive knowledge of Fannie-Mae, Freddie Mac, VHA, VA, USDA Rural Housing Service agency guidelines
- Requires knowledge of TILA-RESPA Information Disclosure (TRID)
- Knowledge of management principles and techniques with business and leadership skills
- Experience developing and implementing staff training programs
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Experience in ReverseVision is preferred
