About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for leading all Retail Processing operations
- Oversees end-to-end processing performance and drives operational strategy
- Develops and executes operational strategies aligned with company growth goals
- Identifies opportunities to improve cost, speed, quality, and borrower experience
- Leads large-scale process improvement initiatives
- Partners with IT and Product teams to prioritize and implement system enhancements
- Utilizes data and analytics to identify trends, risks, and performance gaps
- Builds a high-performing, accountable, and scalable organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 12 years of related progressive experience in mortgage operations, with minimum 7 years in leadership roles
- Experience leading large-scale loan processing operations
- Proven ability to set strategic vision and translate business goals into executable operating plans
- Strong cross-functional leadership experience partnering with underwriting, closing, funding, secondary marketing, and servicing
- Deep knowledge of federal, state, and investor regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated success establishing and enforcing service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Advanced experience in operational reporting and analytics
- Ability to identify operational inefficiencies
- Strong people leadership experience
