About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for advancing the organization's enterprise talent strategy by driving consistent, data-informed talent and performance practices across the business.
  • Partners with leaders to strengthen organizational capability through effective performance management, talent insights, succession planning, and workforce planning.
  • Works closely with Employee Relations, HR Technology, Compensation, and OD teams within HR and business leaders to ensure leaders have the tools, data, and guidance needed to make thoughtful talent decisions, differentiate performance, and build high-performing teams that support Finance of America's long-term business strategy.
  • Analyzes performance, talent, and organizational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for leadership focus.
  • Develops and maintains enterprise talent insights that support succession planning, leadership development, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Manages enterprise talent reviews by providing data analysis, facilitating calibration discussions, and documenting key outcomes and action plans.
  • Manages annual performance management process and partners with HR Technology team to prepare UKG system, partners with Employee Relations to ensure performance management practices are applied consistently and aligned with company policy and employment requirements.
  • Collaborates with HR Technology team to develop dashboards, metrics, and reporting that provide leaders with meaningful talent insights.
  • Partners with Compensation team to develop or revise job descriptions and analyze organizational charts and reporting structures.
  • Guides leaders in applying enterprise performance management frameworks while encouraging fair, consistent, and differentiated talent decisions.
  • Identifies organizational trends related to performance, engagement, retention, and leadership effectiveness, providing actionable recommendations to the Vice President of Talent Management.
  • Helps strengthen enterprise talent processes, governance, and tools to improve organizational capability and leadership decision-making.
  • Fosters accountability by supporting leaders in following through on talent actions, development plans, and performance conversations and escalating when there is a lack of leadership ownership and action.
  • Contributes to the ongoing evolution of Finance of America's talent management strategy, ensuring programs align with business priorities and future workforce needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, Performance Management, Organizational Development, Employee Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading enterprise programs or strategic HR initiatives with cross-functional impact.
  • Experience partnering with business leaders to drive performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, or organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging HRIS data and workforce analytics to generate actionable business insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify workforce trends and translate data into practical recommendations that strengthen organizational capability.
  • Experience influencing leaders and facilitating thoughtful talent discussions and performance decisions.
  • Experience holding executive and senior leaders accountable in performance management and talent decisions.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance organizational priorities, talent strategy, and employee experience.
  • Excellent judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence leaders at all levels.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field.
  • Preferred Master's Degree and/or SHRM, HRCI, or similar HR certification.
