About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for reviewing and analyzing loan level data and internal reports for compliance with internal policies, guidelines, and legal and regulatory requirements.
Analyzes, identifies, and resolves or further escalates operational issues affecting compliance with internal policies, guidelines, and legal and regulatory requirements.
Reviews and resolves compliance tickets on a loan-by-loan basis.
Analyzes data to provide clear and accurate feedback to management.
Performs a variety of daily tasks including reviews reports, preparing correspondence, and participating in department projects.
Assists with audits and regulatory examinations by gathering required documentation.
Assists with reviews on new or updated products for compliance with program guidelines.
Assists with training junior Compliance Analysts.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 3 years of related experience in mortgage lending or banking.
Experience with mortgage operations.
Experience providing internal and external customer service excellence.
Mathematical acumen to analyze equations.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Interpersonal, oral, and written communication, and presentation skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer service orientation.
Organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with attention to detail to work in a fast paced environment under time constraints.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Bachelor's Degree in Law or related.
