About the role
- Responsible for reviewing and analyzing loan level data and internal reports for compliance with internal policies, guidelines, and legal and regulatory requirements.
- Analyzes, identifies, and resolves or further escalates operational issues affecting compliance with internal policies, guidelines, and legal and regulatory requirements.
- Reviews and resolves compliance tickets on a loan-by-loan basis.
- Analyzes data to provide clear and accurate feedback to management.
- Performs a variety of daily tasks including reviews reports, preparing correspondence, and participating in department projects.
- Assists with audits and regulatory examinations by gathering required documentation.
- Assists with reviews on new or updated products for compliance with program guidelines.
- Assists with training junior Compliance Analysts.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in mortgage lending or banking.
- Experience with mortgage operations.
- Experience providing internal and external customer service excellence.
- Mathematical acumen to analyze equations.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Interpersonal, oral, and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer service orientation.
- Organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with attention to detail to work in a fast paced environment under time constraints.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Bachelor's Degree in Law or related.
