About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Evolve and lead Fin-x's Data, Analytics, BI, and AI strategy.
Advance the data architecture and the company's analytics layer.
Organize and prioritize the data and AI roadmap in partnership with Product, Engineering, Operations, and executive leadership.
Improve dashboards, metrics, and analytical products to make them simpler, more reliable, and decision-focused.
Identify, prioritize, and implement AI use cases that deliver real business and customer operational impact.
Lead applied AI initiatives for automation, recommendation, classification, decision support, and insight generation.
Ensure data governance, quality, security, and traceability.
Establish standards and processes, and, as the company grows, build out the team for the area.
Serve as an internal reference for the strategic use of data and AI.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant experience leading or building Data, Analytics, BI, Data Engineering, or AI teams/functions.
Experience defining data architecture, analytical modeling, and organizing data pipelines.
Experience building dashboards, KPIs, and analytical products for decision-making.
Practical experience applying artificial intelligence in products, processes, or operations.
Ability to set priorities based on business impact.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical teams.
Hands-on attitude, autonomy, and an ownership mindset.
Experience with complex integrations between transactional systems. (Nice to have)
Experience with generative AI, AI agents, copilots, or intelligent automations. (Nice to have)
Experience participating in the construction of a data lakehouse, analytics modernization, or data-driven products. (Nice to have)
Experience at a growing B2B SaaS company. (Nice to have)
