About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide leadership, strategic direction, and technical guidance to the operations team and internal network
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on manufactured-home closings and real property conversions across all 50 states
- Provide prompt, accurate support via phone, email, and instant messaging
- Resolve pre- and post-closing manufactured-home inquiries, concerns, and escalated issues
- Research complex problems using internal systems and regulatory resources
- Oversee the manufactured-home real property conversion pipeline and streamline workflows
- Guide stakeholders through the complete conversion process while following timelines and procedures
- Monitor state, federal, and agency compliance regulations and advise leadership on process adjustments
- Train, mentor, and develop analysts responsible for pipeline oversight
- Manage hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, promotions, and disciplinary actions
- Partner with leadership on job descriptions, training curricula, and operational strategies
- Analyze Encompass and other reporting-platform data to identify operational trends
- Communicate actionable insights to leadership, team members, and internal and external partners
- Lead and support special departmental projects as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5 years of mortgage industry experience
- Minimum of 4 years of specialized experience in manufactured housing processing or title work
- Comprehensive understanding of manufactured-home de-titling and real-property conversion processes across all 50 states
- Deep knowledge of the real estate title process
- Understanding of the mortgage lifecycle from application to funding
- Knowledge of required loan file documentation
- Familiarity with state and federal real estate lending regulations
- Proficiency with the Encompass loan origination system
