About the role

  • Own the full product lifecycle – from concept and requirements through to launch, maturity, and end-of-life.
  • Developing, maintaining, and refining product literature, with full ownership of datasheets to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with product capabilities.
  • Work with the CTO and Head of Marketing to develop & maintain product/technology roadmaps that reflect market trends, customer feedback and strategic goals.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Commercial (Business Development and Marketing), and Operations to define and prioritise product requirements, translating market and customer insights into a clear and cohesive set of specifications.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and ensure clear product definition and positioning.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform strategic decision-making
  • Prepare business cases, pricing strategies and go-to-market plans.
  • Working with Biz Dev to serve as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring products meet real-world application needs.
  • Support customer engagement, proposal development and bid activity with technical insight.
  • Track and report on product performance, identifying opportunities for enhancement or optimisation.
  • Provide product familiarisation for the business development team and deliver customer training as required.

Requirements

  • Essential:
  • - Degree in engineering, physics or a related technical discipline.
  • - Proven experience in a product marketing role within RF, microwave, satellite, or telecoms industries.
  • - Strong technical understanding of RF/microwave/mmWave systems and components.
  • - Commercial awareness and experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • - Ability to support sales teams with tools, collateral and training.
  • - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • - Comfortable balancing technical depth with commercial priorities.
  • Desirable:
  • - Familiarity with latest semiconductor technology.
  • - Experience managing space-qualified or high-reliability products.
  • - Knowledge of satellite, aerospace, defence or HAPS/LEO communications markets.
  • - Understanding of ESA, UKSA, or similar programme frameworks.
  • - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • - Comfortable presenting ideas via various channels including conferences and webinars.
