About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform complex financial analysis, financial modeling, and transaction due diligence supporting underwriting, execution, and idea generation
  • Complete training and support obtaining required securities licenses within policy guidelines
  • Develop accounting, corporate finance, credit, and capital markets concepts for transactions
  • Build financial models analyzing performance and credit trends
  • Perform transaction due diligence, including credit research, comparable debt, and ratings analysis
  • Conduct accounting, business, and legal due diligence for new and existing clients
  • Research and assess financial information
  • Prepare pitch materials, market updates, economic updates, pricing information, and client meeting materials
  • Synthesize information to help senior deal-team members develop client solutions
  • Develop proficiency in third-party platforms and assist with database maintenance
  • Manage multiple high-priority opportunities under oversight from associates and senior bankers
  • Communicate project status and prioritization with deal team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated academic or professional exposure to financial analysis and corporate finance concepts
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and Series 63 licenses; licenses may be obtained immediately after start date within company policy timeframe
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • 0–2 years of relevant work or internship experience in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to interpret financial data and trends
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based immigration sponsorship
  • Graduating Class of 2027
  • GPA of 3.3 or higher
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in Corporate & Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, and/or Capital Markets is a plus
  • Relevant internships and co-op program experience
  • Familiarity with third-party financial platforms and databases such as Bloomberg and Capital IQ
